Police fear kidnapped Armenian elder killed in Sydney
Chris Baghsarian, an 85-year-old Armenian widower who was kidnapped from his suburban Sydney home on Feb. 13, has been found dead, according to unconfirmed reports.
Police discovered remains believed to be those of the victim near a golf course about 50 kilometers away, following what authorities have described as a botched kidnapping.
Even before the discovery, fears for his safety had been mounting as police intensified their investigation.

This is horrific. To have migrated to a country that was once a refuge and safe, for a new and better life, only to be brutally kidnapped and murdered at the age of 85.
Australia is going down the drain with an appalling rise in kidnappings, murders, robberies and other violent crimes. These crimes are being committed by gangs and mafia groups that are growing in number and becoming bolder and more violent.
Two perpetrators have been apprehended and appear to be members of the Alameddine crime family, one of the Lebanese mafia crime families.
The perpetrators will be tried and convicted, but the Australian government isn’t doing enough to go after their leaders who order these crimes, and to combat and destroy these gangs and mafia groups.
