How Will Russia React to Robert Kocharian’s Arrest (or Will It At All)?
On July 27, an Armenian court ordered the detention of former Armenian President Robert Kocharian for two months. The Armenian ex-president is charged with overthrowing the constitutional order during events after the 2008 elections. If convicted, he will face a long prison sentence. It would be the first case in which a head of state is detained in one of the former Soviet Republics.
It was expected that the United States, the European Union, and especially Russia would respond to Kocharian'

I smell two rats: Levon Ter Petrosoglu and Nikole Pachinyan,the prime orc hestrators of March 2008 riots in Yerevan. These two Charlatans deserve a day in court.

Jay DON’T combine the name of Nichole Pachinian with Levon Ter Petrosian in the same sentence. Nichole Pachinian represents the will of the Armenian people. Petrosian and the like were stooges of world governance rulers wishing to control the will of the Armenian people.
It is pointless to speculate.
We’ll have to wait and see if the legal process will be fair, just and transparent.
Right now, too much “politics” which is not a healthy atmosphere to maintain unity and make progress in the ills that faces the nation.

The problem is that pashinyan supporters are unaware of the fact that he was the prime organizer of a mass disorder and deadly violence in Yerevan during the 2008 riots , where ten people were killed, two officers and eight protesters. He even called on the protesters to arm themselves with rocks, clubs, or metal objects to repel riot police. There are videos caught on cameras by, Hye loor news organization, where the protesters had shown up with handguns, clubs, knives, Molotov Cocktails, and machetes. During the riots, you could see hooligan-protesters ransacking and looting stores,and supermarkets, setting cars and busses on fire. Then president, Mr. Kocharyan, had no choice but to declare state of emergency to diffuse the violence. Both Pashinyan and Petrosyan, should pay ,for the crimes they committed.

everyone knows that Pashinyan went to hiding for a year and was jailed for over a year until being pardoned for those same trumped up charges. So if you’re trying to inform people via comment, everyone knows most of Pashinyan’s past – he was a very public figure and he served his time in hiding and in prison for the debatable issue you are re-accusing him of.
And this whole Petrosoglu thing is really dumb. Get over it and call him by his last name! He led an independence movement, attempted to consolidate a republic’s recreation/existence in a time of humanitarian crisis, economic collapse, war, and a blockade. May not be a perfect guy but this is the result of those complicated and difficult times. Blame the Yerkrapahs pressuring/threatening him after the war to buy up those factories for cheap which gave way to a generation of the kebab necked oligarchs. Yes, he’s to blame for them but what power (or courage) did he have really?
Also, Kocharyan’s orders led to deaths, he knew the outcome of his action, that’s not true for Ter-Petrosyan or Pashinyan.
When the protesters are armed to their teeth with deadly weapons, they will face a deadly reaction, simple as that. Pashinyan sentence was very light for the crimes he committed, he should’ve locked up in the slammer for life along with his boss, Petrosoglu.
