“Hove” portrays the relationship of Zara and Nina, two Armenian women whose relationship is deeply affected by a chance encounter with the past and powerful unresolved legacy of the Armenian Genocide. “Hove” features Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis (“Moonstruck,” “Away from Her”) as Zara and Armenian-American actress Shirleyann Kaladjian (“A Dirty Shame”) as Nina.

Webb and actress Kaladjian will attend the Saturday event to discuss the making of the film and answer audience questions following the screening.

“Hove” premiered at the 2009 Palm Springs Short Film Festival. It has also been an official selection of the Boston Film Festival, Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, and the Montreal Film Festival, where it sold out three screenings. The acclaimed film most recently received an honorable mention for the Best Short Film from the Pomegranate Film Festival.
