International Association of Genocide Scholars passes resolution on Artsakh
The International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) proposed a resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), which was passed on September 2, 2024. The resolution condemns Azerbaijan’s violations of human rights, war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity perpetrated against the Armenian population of Artsakh and affirms their right to return with international guarantees of security.

It is a cruel twist of irony and doubly tragic, that the current Armenian government of Pashinyan is burying its head and ignores the second calamity to hit the Armenian nation since 1915 – the destruction of Artsakh – and which threatens the very existence of Armenia itself, whereas Armenian diaspora organizations and friends of Armenia are working day and night for justice, for the safety and the well-being of the Armenian nation and state, which also ought to be the job of the Armenian government under normal circumstances!
And yet, Pashinyan remains in power.
If Armenians do not care about Armenia, why should anybody else?
