In the long and at times tragic road of Armenian history, we find ourselves currently in a particularly unique circumstance. Uniqueness is difficult to attain when your history has over four thousand years as a nation state. Today, the Armenian nation has two democratic states—one recognized on an international level and one unrecognized by a world filled with self-interest. Both, however, are not only recognized by the global Armenian nation but are embraced with love. The Republics of Armenia and Artsakh are also threatened by a traditional enemy—the Turkish alliance of Azerbaijan and Turkey, bent on the destruction of what was once the greater Armenian Highlands. What is particularly interesting is that while one would think that their interests are commonly held, there are unique needs for both states that are creating significant challenges within our global community.

Mostly agree but we must also engage in some introspection, chief among which is the role played by Pashinyan and his party to enable the disastrous downhill spiral of the Armenian nation in such a short time. Where does one even start? He came into power by lying, PERIOD! He couldn’t care less about Artsakh. The, after initially taking a selfie of himself and Su-30s in the background (apparently against advice, but he bought and never used them – probably never to be used) he went on to single-handedly dismantle the army. Dozens of evidently well-respected generals rose in opposition but were silenced. Now that there is a brief moment of respite when Armenia could re-arm itself, does anyone have any doubt that he’ll screw up? You can bet that he’ll fall sleep and probably pay more attention to beautifying parks or demanding apologies from the opposition or devising schemes to make Armenians person non grata… Keep him in power at your own peril, Armenia!
From the beginning when the Armenians had won in Artsakh ,we should have made a deal with Azerbaijian, whatever was the autonomous area of artsakh should have been made independent with the Azerbaijanis from Artsakh and armenians from artsakh to form and independent state in the same system of Belgium or Switzerland. Independent from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
