YEREVAN—Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reiterated his country’s support for a return to negotiations as the ongoing conflict rages for its 18th day. In a televised address to the nation, Pashinyan said that while Armenia was committed to peace, the forces of Artsakh and Armenia, despite the combined resources and manpower of the Azeri, Turkish and jihadist opponents, will not tolerate any attempted incursion into the Republic of Artsakh.

Well, what would be the new pretext of Russia now? Now it is about the “official” Armenian territory, so should we hear from our so called ally the word “ceasefire” over and over again?
Russia is &will (Not) be ally , If he is he will support & defend immediately Armenia /Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Russia playing same old USSR Rules . One of the benefits of this war for Armenians, not only in the Republic of Armenia, but in the diaspora is that they are reminded that Russia is no friend of Armenians and would readily sit by and let them be slaughtered. There are so many Armenians that see Russia as some sort of big brother or protector figure to Armenia. In times like these we have the opportunity to really open our eyes to see who our allies are.
Millions of men around the world are now making plans to travel to Armenia. Though we have no ties to Armenia we consider this a war against terrorists, with the king terrorist being Erdogan. The world will never allow a 2nd genocide on our Armenia brothers and sisters
But yet, the USA (who itself has committed a massive amount of terrorism in this world, and also happened to be the creator of ISIS) continues to be in support of king terrorist Erdogan. And even after all this time, the stupid, pathetic USA has still not terminated its military aid to king terrorist Erdogan; nor has it sanctioned his Turkey for his war crimes against the Armenians.
And, also don’t forget that Israel is enormously guilty in the genocide that Azerbaijan and Turkey are attempting to commit against the Armenians of Artsakh. Sixty percent of Azerbaijan’s military arms come from Israel. Furthermore, it happens to be those Israeli drones that have killed the largest number of Armenians up to now.
Considering the previous statements of some Russian officials it can be assumed that they weren’t content with Pashinyan’s pro-western policies.
So it’s likely that Russia will let Azerbaijan take at least some parts of the Karabakh (or maybe all of it) back in order to put Pashinyan’s administration in a much more difficult condition and to teach him a lesson.
Are you saying the Russia demands to have a “Yes Man”? Pashinyan has made it clear that he hasn’t changed Armenia’s Pro-Russia Alliance one bit. Russia also didn’t do much differently in the 2016 Four Day War, if you can recall what happened 4 years ago, with the previous administration.
You have to remember that it was Russia during the soviet era that gave Nakhitchevan , Karabagh ,and Kars and Ardahan to the Turks. Russia has never been a true friend. Armenia has no allies , we have to fight for ourselves.
Not a single nation has come militarily to help us. Every one is looking after their own business just like in 1915.no one gives a damn for Armenians ,we have no oil or gas in our country.
I advise you to check on youtube some videos of Russian arms going to Armenia via the southern border with Iran. Since Georgia closed the borders, Russia sends huge amounts of artillery with Air Cargo to Iran then into Armenia. Both countries are buying heavy arms from various countries. Obviously, Azerbaijan can afford to buy more since their resources are bigger. But you can’t deny the fact that Armenia is not getting any weapons from Russia. Since Armenia and Russia are both members of a military alliance, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), along with four other ex-Soviet countries (which Azerbaijan is not the part of) Let’s be fair n square.
What kind of an ally is Russia? It has a military base in the Republic of Armenia yet remains diplomatically neutral when Armenia is attacked by foreign forces, calling on both sides to ceasefire when it was blatantly obvious that Azerbaijan started this war. As the saying goes ‘with friends like that who needs enemies?’.
Armenians must only rely on themselves to defend their nation and the people of Artsakh. As one can see, the western world remains silent while Azerbaijan commits war crimes.
Armenia/Artsakh if had dirty black oil , I’m positively sure , US politician’s in general were acting immediately ,where is International human rights?! Repeating the history (Genoside)
