PROVIDENCE, R.I.—On Friday evening, Dec. 19, three ARF novices, Hrag Arakelian, Ani Megerdichian, and Nareh Mkrtschjan, took their oaths—administrated by their Godfather, Megerdich Megerdichian—in the Stephen J. Varadian ANC Center.
These three new ungers join the ranks of the Providence ARF, which has a long and storied history of accomplishment and developing leaders. Twenty-five ungers were present for the oath taking and helped the newest members celebrate their entry into the Gomidehoutiun. The newest members are also members of the Armenian Youth Federation and have all served as counselors at Camp Haiastan.
A social hour followed with refreshments. The Providence ARF “Kristapor” Gomidehoution is now approaching a total membership of 40.
