ACAA Raffle Drawing Held in NJ

MONTVALE, N.J. (A.W.)—On Jan. 8, the Armenian Cultural Association of America (ACAA) raised more than $30,000 from a raffle drawing held at a reception at the Montvale home of ACAA Board member Hrair Baronian.

Speaking on behalf of the ACAA, Angele Manougian and Talin Daghlian thanked the guests for having contributed to the organization’s efforts. Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, Antranig Kasbarian, and Viken Hovsepian also delivered comments.

Below are the raffle items and their winners:

–14kt gold earring with 1 large blue diamond and 3 small diamonds. Donated by Danielian Jewelery. Winner: Aida Gharibian, Woodridge, N.J.

–Armenian Heritage Cruise XV tickets (for two people). Donated by the ACAA. Winner: Sirvart Zurnacian, Richmond, Va.

–4×6 wool carpet. Donated by the Tufenkian Foundation. Winner: Aram Parseghian, Sunnyside, N.Y.

–Ladies Movado watch. Donated by Toros Chopgian. Winner: Nicole Dadian, New Brilan, Wisc.

–“Noah’s Ark” by Michael Aram. Donated by Michael Aram. Winner: Varoujan Vartanian, Ridgefield, N.J.

The ACAA also thanks Hagop Tankian and Lucy Ishkhanian for donating valuable silent auction items.
