WATERTOWN, Mass.—Since its foundation, the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) has been striving to support Armenian students by providing scholarships to ensure that they can pursue their studies without interruption. The ARS Scholarship program aims to cultivate a new generation of professionals who, upon earning their university degrees, will serve both their communities and the homeland.
For many years, the ARS Central Executive Board (CEB) has awarded scholarships to students who completed the application form and met all requirements. For the 2024-25 academic year, $39,000 in scholarships were granted to the highest-scoring 30 students from 13 countries.
We want to express our deep gratitude to the benefactors behind the “Eremian,” “Jizmjian,” “Baghdoyan,” “Balounian,” “Kalaydjian,” “Vartan Gregorian” and “Janet Markarian” funds, whose generous contributions have made these scholarships possible.
As we celebrate our 115th anniversary, the ARS CEB is reaching out to our benefactors and supporters for their generous donations. Your contributions will help us continue our efforts in assisting a more significant number of students through the ARS Scholarship and support a more substantial number of Armenian students worldwide. You can also leave a legacy to enable us to continue promoting and assisting.
