  1. A very interesting conference. Many thought provoking ideas were expressed and articulated upon by the participating panelists.
But “where do we go from here”.
I do not believe that question was answered except in broad generalities.
    – What are the next practical steps that should be taken?
    – Who does what? In the diaspora we are fragmented and no unified strategy exists. Who will lead, organize and implement the proposals and ideas put forward?
    – How do we organize ourselves to get reparations? Who leads the legal effort, which is highly complicated, and undoubtedly will be costly. Who are the lawyers that will be engaged in this effort? How will they be funded?
    – How can the Diaspora work hand in hand with the Government of Armenia to achieve these goals and objectives? Armenia now is a free state and has a voice and presence on the world international stage.
    – What can and should be done to convince the USA, Germany, Israel and England to have moral integrity and core values and recognize the Armenian Genocide and change their misguided policy by supporting Turkey in their denial.
These are all questions that need to be answered if we really want to make progress. A concrete and practical plan of action has to be developed and implemented. Words and panel discussions might be good for the morale, but do not yield tangible results.
