Talar Sarkissian

Talar Sarkissian is a rising senior at Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School in Los Angeles, California. She is the Student Council President for the 2022-23 academic school year, and has been the president of the Pilibos Armenian Club for two years. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. Talar is part of the AYF “Nigol Touman” Chapter and a coach for Homenetmen “Azadamard” Chapter, among other community organizations. She will be participating in the 2022 Pan Homenetmen games which are taking place in Armenia. She has written multiple articles including "The Right to Live Peacefully" and "Today is Our Day," to inform and inspire the Armenian community within the diaspora and to push our Cause forward. Talar is optimistic about her future and hopes to reach many successful milestones, which she will apply to pursue greater leaps for her community and culture.
