WASHINGTON, DC—The AYF Olympics Steering Committee and the DC community have been hard at work for the last year planning a spectacular experience at the 2023 DC AYF Olympics and look forward to welcoming everyone over Labor Day weekend!
The committee is excited to kick-off this year’s Olympics with a fun Thursday evening at Nationals Park for a game between the Miami Marlins and the Washington Nationals, followed by a night at The Mayflower Club and a weekend complete with an astounding array of talent new to AYF Olympics.
More hotel rooms were sold within the first five days than all of last year, leading the DC community to all-time record-breaking sales. The newly-renovated Renaissance DC Hotel, headquarters of the Olympics and the location for all dances, is within walking distance of many restaurants and sites in the heart of Washington, DC.
A revamped Olympics website and ad book integration will provide year-round virtual exposure for 2023 ads. In addition, previous ad books are found on the website. AYF Olympics ad books will still be printed and distributed during the weekend, as is tradition. Support the ad book now by dedicating a page to the memory of a loved one, highlighting a favorite AYF memory, advertising your business or writing a note to encourage the athletes.
Over the course of the weekend, there will be athletic events to keep guests entertained all day. Cheer on the athletes as they compete in events including golf, swimming, tennis, basketball, softball and track & field. Registrations for athletes and the AYF Olympics Open are now open.
