61st Annual Artist’s Ball (New York)
SEPT. 25-26, 2010 * 61ST ANNUAL ARTISTS’ BALL. The New York branch of the Armenian Students’ Association (ASA) will host the 61st Annual Artists’ Ball and the return of the Armenian Kef party. Opening reception from 6-11 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 25. At the Ico Gallery Chelsea, 606 West 26th St. (by 11th Ave.), Chelsea, Manhattan, NYC. Artwork on display at the Ico Gallery Chelsea from 6-11 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 25, and12-5 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 26. Free and open to the public. Featured artists are Lucie Abdalian, Eozen Agopian, Nishan Akgulian, Eliz Alahverdian, Yvonne Albinowski, Steve Altan, Gagik Aroutiunian, Patrick Bachian, Eliza Bazilian, Nerses Chorekchyan, Maral Der Boghossian, Adrienne Der Marderosian, Arthur Erberber, Serli H., Aleen Hosdaghian, Angela Jann, Aram Kailian, Ara Kantardjian, Eileen Karakashian, Mher Khachatryan, Susan Kirby, Astrid Menatian, Kevork Mourad, Sevan Naccashian, Marsha Nouritza Odabashian, Larisa Safaryan, Simon Samsonian, Karine Sarkissian, Alan Semerdjian, Khach Turabian, Roubina Vartan, and Patrizia Vartanian. The Artists Ball Armenian Kef party will take place at 630 Second Avenue (by 34th Street) in New York City beginning at 9 p.m. Music will be provided by Dick Barsamian (oud and vocals), Harold Hagopian (clarinet), Ara Dinkjian (keyboard), and Chuck Yegian (dumbeg). Drink tickets will be available for purchase. RSVP is not required and $25 admission is payable at the door.
