I have read the first report, and have admired Panossian’s very refreshing approach to not only distribute the availabe fundings but seriously hold the receivers accountable, which is perhaps the only way to improve results by means of constructive criticism… Thanks Nanor, for contributing to the clarification of important issues in Panossian’s 5 year very contructive plan.

Thank you Dr. Panossian for being there. I had met you at a lecture you gave at Ottawa University a while back, and I continue to be very positively impressed.
Good intervene with some excellent thoughts and action plan. I fully agree with Mr.Panossian’s vision of visualizing where Armenia would be in 2115. Perhaps it is better, for now, to make short term plans as to where Armenia would be in 2025, ten years from now. From what we observe, it is doubtful that Armenia will survive as an independent and free state for the coming decade or so with the high out-migration of its population, the state of corruption and a failed government that continues to blindly robe all the resources of this poor nation. Let’s stat with a 10-25 year plan now and leave the hundred-year vision for a latter years.
I was a beneficiary of the Gulbenkian Foundation. It funded my studies and as well as the studies of the many Armenian Students of my generation in various fields at the American University of Beirut. Many and many of us owe our careers to the Foundation. Without its assistance we would not have achieved and become the providers we became for the families we raised.
I was also one of the few who were privileged to be invited by the Foundation for a summer long post graduate course at the institution’s science center and thus I had the opportunity to be at the Foundation’s Headquarters in Lisbon and meet some of its principals then.
The Foundation seemed later to lose its prominence, at least its visibility to keep the community informed of its continuing charter.
Dr. Razmig Panossian born and bred in a traditional Kessabtsi Armenian family and possessing impeccable credentials is the right person at the right to lead the Armenian Department of the Foundation at a time when we are experiencing technology based seismic social changes and academic challenges. The Gulbenkian Foundation is now poised to continue on shaping the lives of many more and positively impact the Armenian Diaspora and become an instrument of much needed change.
We are proud to have such a dedicated Armenians like Dr. Razmik Panossian, who serves our community heartily…
