Tim Straight

Tim Straight has lived in Armenia since late 2000, and is the honorary consul of Finland and Norway. Weary of reporting on emigration, poverty and stunting to the capitals of those two countries, he created the Homeland Development Initiative Foundation in 2010 as a social entrepreneurship whose sole purpose is to create jobs, mostly for women, in the regions of Armenia. He otherwise engages in promoting a number of good causes, always on the side of small projects with a positive social impact.
