Florin George Calian

Florin George Calian holds a PhD in philosophy from Central European University (CEU). He holds an MA in Medieval Studies from CEU and an MA in Greek and Roman Archaeology from the University of Bucharest. He has studied and conducted research at the Departement für Philosophie of Université Fribourg (Switzerland), Trinity College (University of Oxford), Plato Center (Trinity College Dublin), Tübinger Stift (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen), New Europe College (Bucharest), Robarts Library (Toronto), Department of Incunabula, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek (Wien). He is a research fellow at the Institute for Ecumenical Research, Philosophy and Religious Studies Unit, Lucian Blaga University. He is also the co-founder of the Dan Slusanschi School for Classical and Oriental Languages.
