Boyamian has 45 years of leadership position with multi-billion-dollar corporations, and a successful track record in international affairs and international business.  By practice and by experience, he is thoroughly familiar with Middle Eastern and European markets, business methods, operations, and strategies. He is a recognized expert in Middle Eastern affairs due to an extensive network of contacts, his fluency of the Arabic language and culture, and his knowledge of the geopolitical complexities of the region.

Boyamian retired a year ago after working at Textron Systems Corporation for 15 years as vice president for international business development.  Before joining Textron, he had worked for Litton Industries for 15 years as its director for international business development.  He was also once the Middle East regional manager for Hoechst and Pfizer Corporation.

On Aug. 2, 1990, when the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait began, Boyamian was in Kuwait city on invitation of the Kuwaiti government.  He was caught by the Iraqi military and became an unwilling “human shield” in Iraq.

Boyamian is a graduate of the American University of Beirut, with a degree in pharmacy and chemistry.  He went on study at the School of Law at the University of Damascus.

The social hour starts with mezza at 6:15 p.m., followed by a complete kheyma and losh kebab dinner at 7 p.m. Admission is $14 per person. The dinner meeting will be at the St. James Armenian Church, Charles Mosesian Cultural and Youth Center, Keljik Hall, at 465 Mount Auburn St. in Watertown. The event is open to the public; ladies are welcome.
