Dink Commemoration in LA to Feature Talk on ‘Hidden Armenians’

LOS ANGELES, Calif.—On Sunday,  Jan. 13, the Organization of Istanbul Armenians (OIA) will commemorate the 6th anniversary of Hrant Dink’s martyrdom with a lecture on the “hidden Armenians” of Turkey by Armenian Weekly editor Khatchig Mouradian.

The lecture, titled “Historic Armenia Today: Between the Hidden and the Revealed (A Photographic Journey),” will be held at 6 p.m. at the OIA “Krikor and Aved Kurkcuoglu Hall,” on 19726 Sherman Way Winnetka, Calif.

Dr. Ohannes Kulak Avedikyan, trustee and chairman of the Organization of Istanbul Armenians Cultural Committee, will deliver opening remarks.

Edvin Minassian, Esq., the chairman of the Organization of Istanbul Armenians Board of Trustees and a member Armenian Bar Association, will discuss the Hrant Dink Foundation and current developments.

The master of ceremonies will be Apo Boghigian, editor in chief of Asbarez Daily newspaper.
