  1. Happy Birthday Charles
    May 22, 2011

    His voice arrives
    Not from his lips
    Not from his tongue
    Not from his vocal cords
    But from every cell
    Of his beating heart
That beats not for him only
    but for others to feel
    What he feels…

    Chanting with innocence and purity
    The words of love
    Teaching others
    What every love word means
    And not to mack around
    As many do and forget

    You let me respond
    With few words
    More to come
    When I have time …

  3. First time I/we  heard  him sing  was near 40 yrs ago , when his star(talent) was begining to shine    a   …P a r i s ..at the Olympiad. We drove all the way from Spain to be there!!
Le petit  Charles-as amicably  called  in French was to   MAKE HISTORY all over the world!!
Hope he has a good reception in NY and all over. We need  him now above all, as Ambassador  in CH(switzerland)  and I now add  him to the rostrum  of my intended(God permit)  National Investmenmt Trust  Fund in Geneva, as  an honourary member  of the Board, alongside  the 6/7  Armenian Magnates(that hopefullyu will establish the Nucleus.

  4. yes charles aznavour- is there another one like him… I don’t think so. will there be another one like him in the future… very probably not. I saw him perform in miami, and beverly hills. years ago I saw him in toronto and after the show he gracefully agreed to come to the armenian community hall, strangely, I ended up sitting right beside him with no one else at the table, everyone else sitting in front of us. I think he noticed my nervousness and asked me if I was the press, I said no, i’m a musician. he looked at me and said,
“do you want to play in my band”. he sure knows how to put people at ease. in beverly hills after the show, as he was leaving, a fellow wanted his authograph, oddly enough all this chap had was a piece of tracing paper which he put in the palm of his hand so that charles could sign it, which he did but not before tracing the gent’s fingers on the paper and putting his signature in the middle.
that’s Charles. I really understand him, perhaps because we are born the same day,(may 22), I sort of think the same way he does as a musician but also because of the love he has, as we all have, for armenia.
