‘Friends of Warm Hearth’ to Help Armenia’s First Long-Term Group Home
Information Session to Take Place May 12 in New York
While volunteering for the Peace Corps in Armenia, Natalie Bryant Rizzieri forged a close bond with her students—eight orphans with disabilities—in the village of Kapan, a city in southern Armenia. After working together every day for two years, Rizzieri learned the devastating news that since her students had reached 18 years of age, they would soon be sent to one of the psychiatric institutions in Armenia.

Natalie is a true reminder of what the Peace Corps is all about in Armenia. I have none many of these Peace Corp people in Armenia and they have done a tremendous job of teaching English to the children and working with the special needs children that are pushed into the background.
Everyone should take the time to donate something to the Warm Hearth home, their website is very easy accessibility to donations. Without this home these older special needs orphans would surely have lived a life on the street as a beggar. This is a great program, special needs orphans can make a good contribution to our country.
