‘No retribution should be carried out against these people. Both [the ARF] and the public should closely follow the situation, and do our utmost to ensure that the charges against them are handled properly, and that the mildest approach allowed by law be adopted.’
I agree with this sentiment and believe that these men should be given a fair hearing and that the government and President should take due account of the public protests in support of this armed groups objectives. However two policemen have been killed and those responsible should face the consequences.
