Astghik Hovhannisyan

Astghik Hovhannisyan is a visiting researcher at International Research Center for Japanese Studies, Kyoto. She previously taught at Russian-Armenian University, Armenia and Saitama University, Japan. Astghik earned her MA and PhD in Japanese Studies from Hitotsubashi University, Japan. Her research interests include social history of medicine, health and illness, disability and marginality.
