  5. I live at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains NJ. I first Met Al at Cedar Crest in May 2014. However, as a teenager, I was in awe of his Eastside High School Football achievements. I graduated from Eastside in June 1949, 8 years after Al graduated, and share May 12, with Al as our birthday. Al is a wonderful, warm-hearted man who sincerely cares about others and for whom I have the utmost respect and admiration. It has been my honor to know him and to call him “a very special friend” and a great leader.
