Stand!

Stand!
Your feet still have the strength
To tread for centuries.
Stand!
Your hands still have the life
To build.
Stand!
The fire is still in your eyes
To burn.
Stand!
You’re still mad enough
To love
And to yearn still
For life,
And to remember still–
To never forget
That your people
Gave you feet
To walk;
Hands
To build;
A heart
To love;
And life
To live on…
