NEW MILFORD, N.J.—On Nov. 16-17, “Art in Fall” will present its 5th annual art exhibition at the Hovnanian School in New Milford. Showcasing the work of more than 30 national and international artists of Armenian descent, the exhibit will feature oil and acrylic paintings, photography, mixed media, and sculpture.
One of the exhibiting artists will be Michael Aram, the renowned designer of high-end tabletop merchandise. Aram will show some of his archived pieces not available for sale in the retail market. All of the artists will donate 40 percent of their sales to the Hovnanian School, a private school offering a tri-lingual curriculum from pre-school to the 8th grade.
Every year, a crew of architects, designers, and visionaries transforms the school auditorium into a NYC gallery setting. This year, the exhibition will be held on Sat., Nov. 16, from 7-10 p.m., and on Sun., Nov. 17, from 1-4 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served at the opening reception on Saturday evening. The event is open to the public; admission is $30 per person. Sunday’s reception will offer refreshments; admission is $15. All forms of payment will be accepted for artwork purchases.
The Hovnanian School is located at 817 River Rd. in New Milford, N.J. For more information, visit www.hovnanianschool.org or www.artinfall.org.
Same Hovnanian that totally screwed the opportunity to create an Armenian Genocide museum just a few blocks away from the White House?
