Dear Editor,
With the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide coming up in the year 2015, I thought it would be appropriate for all Armenian organizations and church groups to unite in getting the U.S. postal service to issue a U.S. commemorative stamp on the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1923. The U.S. postal service usually requires at least two to three years notice to issue a commemorative stamp.
The United Nations postal system should also be notified and possibly joint issue one with the republic of Armenia. An appropriate design should be forwarded with possibly a picture of Mt. Ararat in the background with the inscription, “The First Genocide of 1915 of the Armenian Nation.” It also could be suggested to have it in the form of a souvenir sheet instead of a stamp.
Respectively submitted,

US postal service stamps cite matters of the United States and it is doubtful they would recognize the Armenian Genocide as such in a stamp for an issue of a foreign county. It’s a fine idea but regretably unlikely.
Maybe a stamp that incorporates President Wilson’s factor in the time period might help convey something of the Armenina Genocie message.
