Vika Dzhobadze is a first generation Armenian-American from Charlotte, North Carolina. With a degree in History from North Carolina State University, Vika has not only a personal connection to diasporic studies but an education in it, as well. She began reporting on the forced displacement of Artsakh-Armenians in 2020, which affected her family, in NC State's newspaper and contributed poetry to the Armenian charity magazine, Split Pomegranate. Vika plans to pursue diasporic studies or public history in the hope of preserving and promoting Armenian history.
