Ruby Topalian

Ruby Topalian is a junior in Columbia University’s dual degree program with Trinity College Dublin, studying international history and political science. Her primary professional interest is investigative journalism, and she works as a staff writer for Columbia Daily Spectator’s investigative magazine, The Eye. Ruby spent last summer as a Scripps Howard Fund intern at the investigative outlet Oklahoma Watch and will intern in NBCUniversal’s investigative unit this upcoming summer. After graduation, she aims to pursue a career as an international correspondent, covering the Middle East and the Caucasus.
