Archpriest Fr. Daron Stepanian, (baptismal name Nazar) was born in Syria. Between 1978 to 1979, he was the secretary of both Khoren I and Karekin II Catholicoi of the Great House of Cilicia. In 1979, he married Sossi Soukiassian; they have two boys. Following in the footsteps of his father Rev. Fr. Daron Stepanian and uncle Rev. Fr. Vazken Stepanian, he was ordained a priest on October 2, 1994 and was assigned to St. Gregory Church parish in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. In 2000, he was assigned to St. Sarkis Church parish in Dearborn, Michigan. In 2006, he received his Master in Religious Education degree from Graduate Theological Foundation. Since July 2012, he's been serving as the pastor of St. Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church, Racine, WI and St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church, Waukegan, IL.
