Jinishian Memorial Program marks 60 years with Yerevan expo
“Youth Business Armenia” highlights success stories from across Armenia

As the Jinishian Memorial Program (JMP) marks 60 years of service to Armenian communities, the organization will host “Youth Business Armenia,” a two-day expo in Yerevan celebrating the businesses and individuals JMP has supported over the decades.
The exhibit brings together entrepreneurs from across Armenia’s regions, who received support from JMP at various points in their careers and continue to grow, innovate and create opportunity in their communities today. Visitors will have the chance to discover new Armenian brands, sample local products and meet the young entrepreneurs behind them.
Event details:
Dates: Oct. 9 (2-7 p.m.) and Oct. 10 (10-7 p.m.)
Location: Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics, 13 Abovyan St., Yerevan
Admission: Free and open to the public
The expo is part of a broader slate of activities marking JMP’s 60th anniversary this year. Founded in 1966 through an endowment from Vartan H. Jinishian and administered by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), JMP has provided economic, social and spiritual assistance to more than 1 million Armenians across the Middle East, Armenia and Georgia since its founding.
“We strongly believe that our support should empower beneficiaries to address their own needs and community issues, rather than merely providing them with means to survive,” said Eliza Minasyan, JMP’s executive director. “We aim to empower people to support their families and the entire community. This is why our vision emphasizes the importance of sustaining a dignified life.”
Through its network of local teams, JMP reaches about 100,000 people annually across the region, focusing on community health, education, spiritual uplift, emergency relief and economic empowerment. The October expo offers the public a rare, tangible look at what that long-term investment produces: independent, thriving Armenian businesses built from the ground up.
