Armenia Tree Project to host Wine Tasting fundraiser in Arlington, MA

ARLINGTON, Mass.–Armenia Tree Project (ATP) has partnered with Storica Wines and Massachusetts-based Armenian restaurant anoush’ella to present a lovely evening of Armenian food and wine in support of ATP’s charitable work on Saturday, September 23 at 6 p.m.

Join us at the beautiful Armenian Cultural Foundation, located in a historic building on the banks of the Mystic River in Arlington, Massachusetts. Guests will enjoy a variety of wines from Armenia presented by Storica’s sommeliers. Storica Wines is an Armenian wine import company in the U.S. that carries wineries such as Keusch, Zulal, Shofer, Oshin, Van Ardi and Voskevaz. Tasty appetizers will be provided by anoush’ella, which translates to “May it be sweet.” Owners Nina and Raffi Festekjian have created a menu based on traditional recipes found in Armenian households that incorporate the fresh, balanced ingredients and complex flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean.

Executive director of ATP Jeanmarie Papelian will share details about the organization’s work in Armenia and Artsakh, which includes plans to plant its 8 millionth tree by the end of 2023. As the organization prepares for its 30th anniversary in 2024, this benefit will kickstart a series of outreach events throughout the U.S. to engage and educate supporters of ATP.

Since 1994, ATP has made it its mission to revitalize communities, improve the local environment and create economic opportunities in Armenia and Artsakh. As Armenia’s leading environmental organization, ATP asks for the support of its friends to continue its mission.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite: ArmeniaTreeProjectWineTasting2023.eventbrite.com.
