Anti-Artsakh Hatred in Armenia

Most Armenians understand the plain truth that the people of Yerevan are Armenians, the people of Syunik are Armenians, the people of Lori are Armenians and the people of Artsakh are…Armenians.        Even before the 44-day war, it didn’t take a geopolitical expert to realize that losing the Republic of Artsakh would endanger the Republic of Armenia. Monte Melkonian stated it clearly, “If we lose Karabakh, we will turn the final page of Armenian history.” Shortly after the war

  1. Serzh Sargsyan never won an election, he stole it. So did Kocharyan before him. Together these two “Talanchyan” clans robbed Armenia and Artsakh of billions of dollars. No one hates the Artsakh Armenians, people don’t like the supporters of the Talanchyans, that’s all. I think the best solution would be for the Talanchyan clans to move to their historic homeland and strengthen it from there, and maybe, maybe, one day wash of that newly-acquired last name.

  2. Thank you Gor for your productive message to all Armenians. If only Armenians can start thinking about our common path and the future of the nation, then this blinding shortsightedness would end. This movement should also take place in our two separate churches whose leaders maintain an unnecessary division among oldest Christian Nation in the world, to the delight of the Turks and other enemies.

  3. Dear Gor there is no way out except a civil coup. Unfortunately there are still people who love Mr nigol. Tge hatred for serjik and robik is very deep. Unless the previous regime leaders come out and unite the nation this man called nigolic will hand over everything

  4. Thank you for your enlightening article. Unfortunately, this shameful attitude toward the Artsakh Armenians is not new. I heard it, by some, in Yerevan during and after the first Artsakh war. Our strength can only be in unity.

  5. Unfortunately, the author badmouths the only political movement, National Democratic Alliance, which has a vision for Armenia to be independent and sovereign. This movement has stated that Artsakh is an Armenian Province and has never been an Azeri territory. This was recognized as Armenian territory by the League of Nations on February 24, 1920. It was the illegal transfer of these territories by the Bolsheviks to Azerbaijan by the Moscow Pact. This Pact is currently being defended by Russia (Lavrov Plan), even though this was done by the Bolsheviks and the Soviet Union. There is no Soviet Union now, thus all Soviet Pacts are void and Artsakh is legally an indevisable part of Armenia.
