Just as in historical Armenia they incited the local Muslim population against the Armenians in order to commit the Armenian Genocide, so too they are here trying to brainwash the Muslim population against Armenians. I hope that Lebanese Muslims are too wise to fall prey to this Turkish evil hand and allow themselves to be manipulated by it!

I agree with Levon wholeheartedly. Thank you for bringing up this subject which has bothered me always about Armenians who keep their turkifyed names instead of going back to their original Armenian name.
I don’t know about these younger generation Moslems in that region. It’s like monkey see, Monkey do. They tend to emulate their parents and their beliefs. It’s so hard to change minds and ways In those sectarian charges patriarchal society. Specially, when these people are being paid and subsidized by an agressive and ambitious Ottoman era glory seeker turkey.

The author makes an excellent point on the role of Armenia. They can remain aloof or use their position as a sovereign nation to nurture relationships to support Armenians in host nations. Turkey is focusing on Turkic people in these Arab nations and also trying g to appeal to Islamic non Turks. The Armenians have built strong and respected relationships with their Arab neighbors and should remind them of the nefarious intentions of the Turks in the Ottoman revival dream. The Arabs suffered greatly and I believe the Turks will fail in their meddling practices.
