The Armenian Relief Society, Inc. (ARS) released a statement on Oct. 1, appealing to the worldwide Armenian community to take part in its ongoing humanitarian efforts with contributions to the ARS Syrian-Armenian Relief programs.
Since the very beginning of the war in Syria more than five years ago, the ARS committed to providing unconditional support to Syria’s Armenian population and initiated various relief efforts and humanitarian projects through its worldwide chapters.

In view of the most recent attacks on Armenian-populated areas of Aleppo on Sept. 30, which resulted in the death of five members of that already stricken community, the Armenian Relief Society expresses its deep sorrow, extending its condolences to their families.
To this end, we appeal to our community and friends to take part in our ongoing humanitarian efforts with contributions to the ARS Syrian-Armenian Relief programs. Your participation, at this hour, is essential to keep the momentum of our emergency relief efforts to a community which must, with all means, survive these tragic circumstances.
