ANRC, AWWA Bring Christmas Joy to Armenian Nursing Home Residents

JAMAICA PLAIN, Mass.—On Sun., Jan. 3, the Board of Directors of the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (ANRC) in Jamaica Plain sponsored its annual Christmas party for the Center’s 83 residents.  Well attended by both ANRC Directors and volunteers from the Armenian Women’s Welfare Association’s (AWWA) General Membership, the residents, their families, and friends enjoyed a festive event.

John, June, and Christina Baboian, who have entertained at this traditional party for many years, performed many Christmas and holiday selections and engaged the residents in a lively sing-along.  Resident received new sweaters as a Christmas gifts from the AWWA.  Carol Zeytoonjian and Annie Youssoufian, ANRC Board members, chaired the event. They were  assisted by ANRC activities staff members Siran Salibian and Salpy Yeterian.
