Searching for Yeghia, Genocide Survivor

Yepraksia Gevorgyan, 109, lives in the village of Armavir in Armenia with her grandson and daughter. Gevorgyan survived the Armenian Genocide by crossing the Araks River, which she remembers red, full of blood. She escaped with her older brother. They lived in an orphanage in Leninakan (now Gyumri) until he was adopted. A hundred years later, Yepraksia Gevorgyan is looking for her missing brother. She believes he was adopted and brought to America. His name is Yeghia; his surname either Ghazarian or Parseghian.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the family in Armenia by calling +37493161915.
