  1. Thank you, Katie Van Adzin, for this brilliant analysis.

Foxman retires in the summer of 2015 — is that so he can do just a bit more damage before the centennial of the Genocide?

Your presentation above is evidence enough that we must keep our eyes wide open and persist in the justice struggle that must happen beyond Suffolk’s commencement speech.

  2. Very well said and articulated. I totally agree with her comments .
It is painfully obvious that the Jewish lobbies worldwide and the Israeli government want to keep the Holocaust on the forefront; be the only race that suffered a calamity, and avoid any kind of comparison/ competition from the Genocide. They are concerned that if the Genocide is recognized, the Holocaust will lose its weight and significance. This is an absurd and irrational thinking because we have never denied or questioned the Holocaust.
There are also geo-political reasons which are influencing the Israelis and the Israeli government. Within the Arab and Muslim world, Turkey is the only “ally” Israel has. This is a dangerous misconception.
    Turkey, being a member of NATO is being pressured to support Israel, and Israel because of its reliance on the US, is being pressured to support Turkey. Turkey cannot afford to lose the financial benefits the 24 NATO bases contribute to its economy. Thus there is a vicious triangle;
NATO, US government, Israel. They are interconnected. I am sure eventually it is going to blow up because fundamentally it is flawed,
    immoral and dishonest .

  3. A brilliant and multi-layered in depth article covering all the issues. The spark that David Boyajian started on this issue way back in 2007 has turned into a storm that will hopefully soon sweep away the genocide deniers in to oblivion well before they can cause more damage in Washington.

  4. Foxman could not care less about Armenians and their genocide. He also does not care about any genocide except the Holocaust or any people except Jews. He is a total phony. I do not accept anything he or the ADL says, and I do not believe for one moment that the ADL is a real “human rights” organization. That human rights stuff is just a cover. The ADL is a Jewish organization for Jews and only for Jews, and that’s all it has ever been. End of story.

  5. Foxman like Lantos before him does as the Lobby says to do. Both turned about face when Israel Turkey relations soured.

On a deeper level, we cannot expect anyone to favor truth over national survival. Foxman’s quote about Israeli access to water and airspace says as much.

If Armenia’s survival depended upon Russia, it probably will not antagonize her and defend the Ukrainians who have some valid complaints against Russia or her proxies. For the same reason our political Diaspira groups will not be marching with the Ukrainans who may validly claim genocide by Stalin.

I think the moral blame n Foxman and his ilk is a bit mitigated by their allegiance to Israel, itself a post genocidal community ( which yes, oppresses Arabs and Armenians). Far greater is the moral blame on nations who do not need Turkey, such as the US and worst of all, the UK.

  6. The ADL and Mr. Foxman they did shaw there true colour on the past.At the present, still you can`t trust them and personly I will never trust them.

  7. To JDA:
The Armenian genocide was never a do-or-die issue for Israel or the Jewish lobby. They supported Turkey in this because they lack principle and only care about themselves. It was not necessary for either Israel or the Jewish lobby to do Turkey’s dirty work. They could easily have refused.

Also, Armenians in general do recognize the Ukrainian genocide committed under Stalin. We are certainly not genocide deniers in that regard. Armenians are anti-Communist, more so than most people and countries.

Please do not give Foxman or the ADL any credit or consideration. They claim to be for human rights for ALL people. They are not at all. They lie. They are just a Jewish political group that tries to put on a good front with touchy-feely “human rights” talk to fool non-Jews. Foxman is nothing but a rampaging bull elephant. The entire leadership of the ADL is corrupt.

  8. I read and appreciate your posts. I’m saying only that Foxman’s denial in his view protects Israel, and is therefore less immoral than the stand of UK and US.
