Asks White House and Congress to Secure Permanent, Prominent Display of this Powerful Symbol of Shared American and Armenian Heritage
WASHINGTON—Armenian Americans across the U.S. are calling upon the White House and Congress to secure a prominent and permanent public display of a historic rug woven by Armenian Genocide orphans and presented to President Calvin Coolidge in 1925, in appreciation for U.S. humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of Turkey’s murder of over 1.5 million Armenians from 1915-1923, reported the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA).

Obama = weasel
All politicians are weasels. We expected a little more out of Obama, but he’s a too conciliatory.
Obama, who promised multiple times to Armenian groups before the 2008 election to champion recognition of the Armenian Genocide, has since then thrown us Armenians into the waste basket. Obama is a charlatan, a liar.
President Obama is the perfect picture of vulgarity toward humanity; his is a beacon to the ethics of lies and deceit with his Harvard community to deny the Armenians the rightful and dissent recognition of truth though out the world. His masquerade will come back and discredit him in the near future. He is a coward and disgraceful figure to this world.
From Boston, if you grab 3N or 93N, to 89W to 100A to Coolidge Memorial Rd or Coolidge Farm Rd. in Plymouth VT, you will be in our 30th President’s Birthplace. It is beautiful up there in Vermont. So drive up and enjoy the ride and the scenery. This is where President Calvin Coolidge lived. President Coolidge was an honorable man, and Armenians all over the world will always honor him just as they honor President Woodrow Wilson whose embassador witnessed the “slaughter of the Armenians under the hands of the Ottoman Turks in 1915.
Once you enter the main building, you’ll learn a lot about the Honorable Calvin Coolidge. Then, I urge you to go and visit the cheese factory, his place of birth, and take your time to say a prayer in the church where our president attended his ritual services. I just want to remind you that our president was a baseball fanatic, and he would’ve loved to witness Red Sox world series championships, after all he practiced law here in Northampton Massachusetts.
I also want to encourage you to visit the museum right next to the main entrance. It is all free. You will find a movie screen where visitors propose a question to the president (re-enactment of the president), and they will receive an answer.
While I was there, I asked him one question and I never got an answer. In fact I personally asked the lady in the front desk about the “4,404,206 individual knots” rug that my Grandmother wove along with hundreds of other orphans, and sent to President Calvin Coolidge with a label in the back written with large hand written letters that read “IN GOLDEN RULE GRATITUDE TO PRESIDENT COOLIDGE.”? “ Is it hidden somewhere? or did someone refused to display it! “
Before you guess what her response was, I am going to ask you to say a prayer at that church, and ask the Lord that “we the people” honor the dead and respect the rights of ALL individuals, the Presidents’, the Orphans’ and especially of those who survived the first holocaust of the 20th century.
On your way home, make sure you visit the cemetery, lay a wreath on the President’ tomb, say a prayer and see if you can whisper in his ears “what is going on!” , I assure you he will be rolling over in his grave! because, I guarantee you he did not take it with him, but he left it for us to appreciate, to cherish, to honor and to remember.
