Worcester ARF Inducts New Members

WORCESTER, Mass.—On Tues., Aug. 27, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) of Worcester inducted three new members, Arpi Aprahamian, Kenar Charchaflian, and Alex Arous.

The ceremony was held at the restaurant Shiraz Armenian Cuisine with representatives from the Boston, Lowell, and Providence Gomidehs in attendance.

Levon Attarian, representing the ARF-Eastern USA Central Committee, welcomed those in attendance and spoke of the commitment and significance of the oath being taken. George Aghjayan spoke on behalf of the Worcester “Aram” Gomideh. The oath was administered by Gunkahayr Hagop Kochian. The new ungers are well known in the community for their extensive and varied efforts on behalf of the Armenian people. They each participated in a series of lectures as part of the novice program. During the ceremony, Aghjayan said their contributions to the Armenian Cause will only be enhanced through the ARF.
