WATERTOWN, Mass.—The Armenian Memorial Church of Watertown will hold its Annual Fair on Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1 (rain or shine). Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m., the Church will be serving delicious kebab dinners and desserts. The Fair will be open on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can choose from a selection of fabulous Armenian dishes, including beef, chicken, and losh (ground meat) kebab dinners complete with sauce, rice pilaf, salad and pita bread. The menu will also include Armenian vegetarian meals. Visitors will have the option of eating at tables under the tent or may purchase take-out orders.

The Fair will also feature an Armenian delicacies table, a silent auction, and craft tables. The women of the Church who are known for their fine cooking have been preparing the Armenian delicacies. They recently held an all-day mante making session, producing hundreds of the petite Armenian dumpling-like treats. They will be featured on the baked goods table along with pakhlava, kadayif, cheoreg, kufte, and many other baked specialties.
