AUG. 1, 2012 * FILM SCREENING: ‘ORPHANS OF THE GENOCIDE’. The ARF Boston “Sardarabad” Gomideh presents the Emmy Award-nominated documentary “Orphans of the Genocide,” a recounting of the story of over 150,000 Armenian Genocide orphans. The film will be presented to the public by four-time regional Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Bared Maronian. Screening begins at 7 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Church Hall, 1 Artsakh St. in Watertown, Mass. The event is free and open to the public; reception to follow. All proceeds to go to the production costs of the film.
