APRIL 24, 2012 * GENOCIDE COMMEMORATION (BOSTON). The Greater Boston Committee to Commemorate the Armenian Genocide invites the public to a Requiem Service, 6:30 p.m., at the khatchkar in front of St. Stephen’s Church in Watertown, Mass; and a public program, 7:30 p.m., at the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC) on 47 Nichols Ave., in Watertown. Featuring keynote speaker Hagop Der Khachadourian from Montreal, Canada. Cultural program features Knarik Nerkararyan (soprano) and Levon Hovsepian (piano), and the “Nor” Trio with Sarkis Karapetyan (violin), Noune Hakobyan (piano), and Andrei Sobchenko (alto saxophone). A reception will follow.
