‘Music of the Ottoman Diaspora’ Lectures

SEPT. 2-6, 2011 * TALK: ‘MUSIC OF OTTOMAN DIASPORA’. Ian Nagoski, the producer of “To What Strange Place: The Music of the Ottoman-American Diaspora, 1916-1929,” has embarked on a speaking tour of the East Coast. The three-disc set features music by Armenian, Greek, and Turkish artists who recorded in New York City. Nagoski will share his journey of musical discovery with the audience.
