WATERTOWN, Mass.—The Armenian Youth Foundation recently announced its 2011 grant solicitation effort. The foundation’s Board of Directors is encouraging all qualified organizations to obtain and submit grand requests to the Grants Committee before the annual July 31 deadline. Grant recipients will be announced during the calendar year’s fourth quarter.
The Armenian Youth Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation formed to help support programs of Armenian youth in America. The grants are directed toward financing worthwhile projects on a national and local basis for Armenian cultural, educational, and athletic programs.
With the enthusiastic support and endorsement of the Armenian community, the foundation’s Capital Fund is fast approaching $525,000 and has returned over $400,000 in total grants to Armenian American youth organizations during its 35-year history.
