JULY 14 -17, 2011 * ARS CONVENTION & BANQUET. The Armenian Relief Society (ARS) holds its 91st Eastern Regional Convention in Providence, R.I. All events—meetings, banquet, and dance—will be held at the Hilton Providence, 21 Atwells Ave., Providence. Sat., July 16—The community is invited to attend the banquet. Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. Dinner choices are Chicken Bavarian or New England Baked Scrod. Donation is $50. Following the dinner and program, music will be provided by Leon Janikian, Ken Kalajian, Robert Raphalian, and Jason Naroian. Parking for attendees is $4.
