Turkey Slams Argentine Judge Ruling on Armenian Genocide

ANKARA, Turkey (AP)—Turkey slammed an Argentine judge’s ruling that it committed genocide against Armenians around the time of World War I.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said on April 4 that the ruling was an example of how legal systems are abused by extreme nationalists belonging to the Armenian Diaspora.

Judge Norberto Oyarbide ruled on April 1 that “the Turkish state committed the crime of genocide against the Armenian people” between 1915 and 1923.

Turkey said the decision was based on unserious accusations, and it destabilizes efforts to mend ties with Armenia.

  1. Oh how i love Turkey’s attempt to always smash any country that speaks the truth… how scared can they be????? VERY VERY scared because their lies and distortion is beginning NOT TO WORK anymore and they are starting to feel the pressure.. Well THEY DESERVE IT…Hope many other countries follow Argentine’s steps and crush Turkey’s arrogance, abuse, manipulation once and for all..

  3. Vartkes and Gayane,

How fortunate you are to be able to freely post whatever you feel like, without any concerns of censorship and deletion from the editorial board.

Your misguided comments are simply that! Listen carefully to what you write. These are the classical writings of a defeated people who have very little world history (about 60 years total…everything else being under some empire’s rule). Jealousy, envy, frustration low self-esteem are all characteristic of your posts. Please take a moment to read them for yourselves and you’ll eventually come to the realization that this is true! Your comments can more appropriately be directed to Armenia and the ARF, the Armenian diaspora and the dashnaks in particular. Ultimately, this will come to light on a global scale.

Let us see if the editorial board posts this without censor!

  5. Almost l00 years, and citizens of Turkey remember the Genocide and we who are children of the Genocide remember and  have dispersed the World over.  Soon, you will be hearing from some countries that you have not heard from, declaring the Genocide to be true.  One of them will be the USA if not officially because you have a hold over us.  Even some of your own Turks believe it…….

  6. Robert you are an “Idiot”
