ARS Holds Memorial Service

In February each year, members of the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) worldwide hold memorial services in memory of all deceased ARS members and benefactors.

On Sun., Feb. 27, the ARS Eastern USA Fairfield “Susan Terzian” Chapter held a service for deceased members of the chapter and added one more name, that of Violet Nazaretian, to the deceased members list. Violet was a committed member of the chapter, always on the front line and supporting programs both morally and financially.

An ARS member for more than 50 years, she served in all positions, including chapter president, and was a deserving recipient of the ARS’s 50-year member gold pin for her unwavering support of the organization.

She will be greatly missed, but her legacy will continue through her close family members and friends. The ARS “Suzan Terzian” Chapter would like to thank all those who made generous donations to the chapter in memory of Violet Nazaretian: Arten and Joan Sukoian, Nubar and Marguerite Terzian, John Arzigian, Diane Arzigian, Emmanuel and Victoria Damboragian, Robert and Karen Levine, Joseph and Donna Cass, Arthur and Sonia Gulbenk, Lucille Sahagian,

Haiganouch Magarian, Fraij and Marie Yapoujian, Alan Gopian, Franklin and Marie Link, Tracy E. Maloney, and Yale University friends of Adriene Nazaretian Radcliffe.

May God bless your soul.
