PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Members and supporters of the Providence “Kristapor” Chapter celebrated New Year’s Eve together once again this year. The event took place at the West Valley Inn with music provided by Hagop Garabedian and his Near East Express and DJ Rootz spinning CD’s all evening long.
Der Gomidas Baghsarian, pastor of Sts. Vartanantz Church, opened the event with a prayer before the dinner was served. Mezza was provided on the tables throughout the evening.
The dance floor was full all night long, providing an atmosphere of excitement with the anticipation of the new year approaching.
