Marshall G. Basmajian, 87, formerly of North Providence, R.I., died peacefully at his home in Estero, Fla., on July 28,. He was the husband of Geri (Gwynn) Basmajian for 38 years. He was the stepfather of Dean Maffie of Menlo Park, Calif., Chris Maffie of Denton, Texas, and Lisa Carr of Colleyville, Texas; and grandfather of Christopher Maffie, William Marshall Carr, and Kristen Carr.
