  1. I, like many Armenians, have observed with admiration the incredible contributions of the Najarian family over the years. Their sponsorship of the Heritage Foundation annual lecture series is another generous commitment to the Armenian community and the American public. This project with the Heritage Park groundbreaking and lecture series is a remarkable and much anticipated event. It is an example of the wonders of Armenian unity. Bravo to all who have made this happen!!

  2. Many thanks to the Armenian Heritage Park Committee for its persistence against considerable odds and to the Armenian Weekly for following this story.

The Armenian park was almost not built due to certain people such as one Peter Meade (Catholic, but a top member of the genocide-denying Anti-Defamation League), Ed Schlossberg (Caroline Kennedy’s husband), and numerous others, such as Boston’s “illustrious” Mayor Tom Menino and his henchmen.  Congressman Capuano – an alleged “friend” of Armenians – put in his two cents too, against the Armenian park.

Here is an article about the Greenway (the Armenian Weekly, to its credit, and others also published it):
